Pressure Equipment

Pressure Equipment is subject to the Technical Regulation of Customs Union (TR CU 032/2013) "On safety of pressure equipment," which came into force on February 1, 2014.

Products covered by technical regulations:

• Vessels for gases, liquefied gases, gases dissolved under pressure, vapors and liquids
• Steam, hot water boilers and fired vessels for production of hot water with temperature  greater than 110ºC
• Pipelines
• Equipment parts (assembly units) and its components designed to be accommodated on the equipment and to withstand the pressure
• Valves
• Indication and safety devices
• Low-pressure chambers (except medical ones)
• Safety equipment

Declaration (DoC)  and Certification ( CoC) are applicable  depending on product category.

The DoC (category 1 and 2) as well as CoC ( category 3 and 4) are issued for a batch (single) delivery or serial production and are valid in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

TR CU (032/2013) has two functions:

• Proof of conformity (formerly covered by GOST-R, TR Russia or TR CU 010 "on safety of machines and equipment).
• Proof for industrial safety (usage permission - formerly covered by RTN (see below))

Important!!!

"Permit to Use" is a document confirming that the technical device can be used or applied on dangerous industrial objects. This procedure is applied in most of Russia's Area countries and has own internal specific regulation.
